Cambridge Homeless Outreach Program (CHOP)

Do you want to help your local homeless community but are not sure how? Get in contact with the Cambridge Homeless Outreach Program! We are a registered CUSU organisation aiming to harness the energy and passion of Cambridge students to fight homelessness in Cambridge. Whether you want to work in a garden, lead a music or art class, or generally work at a shelter, our aim is to provide a variety of opportunities by partnering with local organisations like Jimmy's, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians. Additionally, if you are interested in addressing the issue of food waste and hunger in our community, we are currently working to form a delivery service that salvages excess food from local businesses for redistribution to those in need.
